I was cleaning my dashboard and found a rev limiting device? I set it to 70 (7000rpm) and now it also makes a noise now...
Anyone else got one and how have you got it set?
My car is mapped etc, I'm sure it should be set at a peak point to change gear... Is this just a rolling road job to get it set?

The device on the dash is just an shift light with buzzer, it doesn't bear any impact on how the car was mapped etc. you can set it were you like. ignition on and press the trip button until it comes up then press and hold, It will start to flash press and hold to change the numbers and a single press to store...

There must a good rpm to set it at before the boost fades out if you know what I mean?
I know the limiter has no effect on the engine itself, when looking at dyno print outs it says peak power at ie 350bhp @ 6750 rpm so surely that would be the best point to change in every gear would be 6750 rpm?
If I could set it spot on then it should make it quicker through the gears?
