Wanting 300bhp+
Hi everyone I own a impreza gc8 1999 when I bought it it was dyno d at 250bjp I believe it had been mapped ,since then I have fitted a panel filter and a decat I'm wanting 300 Bhp what can I do to get there ? I belive it's already fitted with 440cc injectors any suggestions ? If I go for upgraded top mount and fuel pump and remap again should I be close ?

That spec sounds similar to mine (I'm in the process of decatting it, fitting a new up-pipe and another remap), but I'm looking for 260-270. I think you will be short of 300 and from what I think I know, 300+ would require a different turbo.

If it's a WRX you could get 300bhp with those mods and mapping. If its a UK turbo with the TD04 260-280 may be the best you can get. Note that the clutch won't last as long with the torque you will be at. My stock clutch did 81,000 miles on standard power (220) and only 35,000 on 270bhp.
