Default thunk from rear corner

Hi all,

my bug WX wagon has what I hitnk is a thunk from the rear pass' (uk car) corner when driving slow in 1st over uneven ground.
At speed I cant notice unything unusual.
I would describe it as a pipe hitting the exhaust pipe, once, then maybe again after a momemt.. sometimes not.
cant see much under there due to weather and lack of daylight up here.

Now its a WRX wagon so Im not suspecting the STI inverted suspension...
what else might it be???

I have it booked in next week for a service and fitting the whiteline bits I got from Indigo GT and will ask them to have a look...
but just asking if there are common issues back there and should I be worried about driving it or the future repair bill??

cheers
Vik

I thought it was the STI's and not the WRX's that do that,..,. as they are inverted.
no?

just wondering if there are any other common issues in that area

I just had the local MOT about 2 weeks ago.. guy didnt say anything

Cheers

Did it on my old bug WRX changed the shocks job done. I confirmed it was the shock absorbers by removing the wheel lifting the rubber gaiter and applied a little WD40, this elimiated the knocking be it only for a few days

It could be other things like ARB bushes and drop links
