96 import loom same as uk?

Hi,

I have a 96' import that has a z4 ecu that a chap wants the engine, ecu and loom for a vw conversion. He has been told the import loom is different to the uk one.

Is this correct?

Possible Uk has immobiliser?! I have put Uk ECU's on my Import V2 with no problems

Thanks for the reply, I don't see why they would be any real difference between them but that doesn't mean there isn't.
