Default Coolent leak at rear block from matrix pipe

Got water leak coming from the metal pipe that comes from the rubber hose that goes/comes from heater matrix,, it seems to be leaking where it bolts up ( has 10mm bolt and best describe it as it looks like the aircon pipe joins when they bolt down)

Is there a o ring or sonething in there?

I do have a picture but can't seem upload it off my phone ATM

Pics need hosting online by something like photobucket.

Could it be the rubber hose split, not tight enough, or perished.
I hope it's not the heater matrix, that's a pig of a job

The metal pipes do corrode and can leak - there is no O ring on that connection - just an interference fit.

Ignore the red arrows in the pic ( throttle body coolant hoses ) - I think you are talking about the same pipe where it joins the coolant cross over pipe ?

Yes it the pipe that is near the red arrow( nearest knock sensor) it's rotten away where is joins into the crossover pipe
