Question wrx airbox

hi all ,recently purchased 02 bug wrx.its got a hks induction kit fitted .is it a straight swop if i put original air box back ,car been remapped to 265 ,will it affect anything .thanks.

Ecu mapping will need modifying if you are reverting to standard air box from an IK

The standard Ecu relies on the airflow meter for fuelling and engine load calculations -
Airflow scaling is dependant on the size of the tube the maf is sitting in which is unlikely to be the same, and the way the intake air is passing over the sensor element.

At least get it checked, then it can be altered as necessary.
