Default NurSpec Question

Hello,

Having just got back into the scooby scene after a few years of boring cars, I have a blob eye with just the Nurspec back box, still has cat and centre silencer section, I would like it to have a little more rumble if I change the centre section leaving in both cats, would it be any louder? I don't want it too loud as Im sure the neighbours wouldn't appreciate it with my 330am starts

Something like the above

As above they are very loud with no cats!!! And with 3:30am starts, i would not bother, as you will upset the neighbours!!!

Must be a Nur Spec S that's fitted, as the R only fits with the Nur Spec centre section, IIRC.

I wouldn't want the hassle off my neighbours starting a full decat Nur Spec R at 3.30am, and that's me that hates my neighbours and has a full decat Nur Spec R!

It is just the S thats fitted, Thats why i mentioned I wanted to keep the cats, I'm aware how loud they are de-cated, But will replacing the centre section in the link just increase the sound a little??

Probably quite a lot. Especially since you'll be starting the car early, when it'll be on cold start.

I have a R at the moment with a bung fitted too, still pretty loud! I couldn't stick the noise of it without the bung.

If it's a WRX just remove the cat in the up-pipe, then you'll have the same cruise volume but gain a roar over around 4,000rpm. Shouldn't need a map until you add more air related mods.

Isn't the s a 2.5 inch back box where the r is 3inch? So it may not be as loud?
