I have the installation manual if you want it? It's got the instructions on how to do it.

also to say tho that after some googling it says it disarms the feature when you take the key out the ignition so theoretically you shouldnt be able to lock yourself out

It's a bit tricky but if you're patient and have a good read at the instructions before you start, it'll be fine

I'll post a link in a minute

Just one thing my car has a turbo timer and when I set it for 1 minute and get out and lock the car when the timer has ended and the car shuts itself off the car unlocks itself is this normal or is there a problem with the turbo timer or alarm system
Cheers

It's the turbo timer causing that one mate. If you have the doors locked when your driving and then stop and turn the ignition off yourself, the toad alarm opens the doors for you to get out. Exactly like my Insignia does too. So when the car is locked again and the turbo timer stops the engine, the toad alarm thinks it needs to open them again. You could have a look in the settings and see if that can be disabled too.

My opinion, get rid of the timer, totally useless.

Ok well since I have disabled the auto lock on the alarm I'll try again see if it does the same, if it does I'll take off the turbo timer luckily I didn't buy the turbo timer it came with the car when I brought it
Thanks again
