Intercooler kits
After having a poke about under the bonnet I've noticed the top mount inter cooler on the car is looking rather past it. All the fins look really damanaged and worn out..
After scanning the net I found this kit
Intercooler 600MMx300MMx76MM
3" (76MM) Inlet and Outlet
All Fixings, Jubilee Clips , Blue Tri-layer Silicone Hose Pipes are included
Complete Chrome Polished Aluminium piping Kit
Max Horsepower Capacity : 650hp
Maximum Cooling Capacity While Allowing For Minimal Pressure Drops
I have a few question about fitting one.
1. Will the car need or me remapped on the dyno once fitted
2. Is there any other mods that are recommended when adding this item to the car,
3. Which brand of inter cooler is best as I have found makes like forged, ect ect
Thanks in advance

1 - It would be most beneficial to get the car remapped after you fit it yes.
2 - To me all mods are always recommended haha, but as for while you're doing the job there is nothing else that you take off that you could change while doing this job. Unless you want to put on a different bumper or something.
Cooling temps will be improved with the FMIC so you will be able to get a larger turbo and run more boost when you map, but this all depends on your engine and supporting mods.....
3 - more expensive brands will have better build quality and fit a bit better, but I had no problems with a cheap H.D.I FMIC on my classic I had.

Thanks for the advice, i was meaning obviously increasing the density of air to the car will effect air fuel ratio so would up rated injectors be recommended when adding Fmic.
