You can get the sockets with teeth in them that undo rounded off bolts?

Go and buy yourself a socket that grips on the flats of the bolt not the corners, I have a set and have yet to find a rounded bolt I can't undo!

I got mine from buck and Hickman but I'm sure the can be got from most decent tool shops! I know Wurth sell them too.

will have a look around for the teeth type...but these dont have the flat parts of the bolt they are the multi spline 12mm ones like the 14mm head blots.

You won't single hex sockets grip the faces not the corner

It would be far quicker to drill the heads off the bolts - find a drill bit which will just pass through the center of your socket, put the socket on the block bolt and use this as a drilling guide to pick up the center of the bolt head.
Drill through to just below the head of the bolt to weaken it and the head of the bolt will come off when you go to undo it with the socket and bar.
Once the crankcases are seperated, you can remove the headless bolts by hand.

I believe they a 16 sided bolt, force an 11mm socket on it with a hammer, make sure it fully seats and then undo it, simples

This is the set I bought when I struggled to get my block apart, an absolute god send, you will use them again and again.
