Default Ecu swap uk-into import. Help please

Fitting uk lump with turbo into my sti import just so I can use the car

I'm using the whole engine, turbo and injectors,,

Is it just a case of swapping ecu overs?? As I want to get standalone ecu down the road to run my vf24 and sti injectors and get set up( child on way forces funds)

Both cars are v4

Please help

What's wrong with your sti engine? They never made a version 4 uk classic. So I'm guessing its a my97/98 phase 1? Grey injectors? Tdo4? Will you be using the sti gearbox

Yes tdo4, has coil pack located on top in the middle of inlet,, sti engine lost all compression,,

Anyway I was going use the sti gearbox on it as it's still in the car,,

So will it just be a case of swapping engine over and the ecu??

Hard to remember but iirc just lift your inlet manifold of and put on new engine. Might have to change injectors check the colour. Should do the job nicely

Mine is a import and just wanted know if it's a case of just swapping the ecu over

You swap ecu's you'll run into problems with cam and crank sensors. Not a big problem but why not just swap as is. It's easy to swap the two sensors in the footwell.
