Probably a silly question but will classic front seats fit straight into a bugeye ???

They will, yes, the bolts line up, certainly, because you can do the reverse.

You may find you are sitting a little low. Newage seats in a classic feel high.

And DO take the seatbelt buckle off whichever car the seats are going into, and attach it to the new seats before putting them in. You'll probably find the seatbelt won't fasten properly with the original buckle on the classic seats .
