RCM compatability with Cobra exhausts
Hi,
Ive got a newage blobeye and have a cobra 3" trackday day system yet to fit
Am i right in saying this will not fit a RCM 3" downpipe decat ? For similar model car
To further confuse matters i have the RCM midpipe also and when layed out on the floor level with the cobra midpipe it is about 3" longer in length.
From my low level knowledge I dont think i can get it to fit even with just adding the cobra back box to the rcm midpipe, i dont want full Rcm as after a quiet system.
Any further help would be great
Cheers

If you buy a full cobra track day system they put the flanges where they want & what ever type they want as it makes no differance to their system. I run RCM downpipe as it's a better design with the Cobra system & I had to get them to do a reflange which they did FOC. Speak to them about what you want, they are very helpful & their systems are good quality & value for money.

If I'm right then I think that all the RCM systems are only compatible with each other and won't fit any other exhaust systems. I want to buy the RCM team Ice back pipe once, but it didn't mate up correctly with my Hayward and Scott centre section.

I think that some lf rcm stuff is not compatable, and the track day cat back may be not also as they dont sell the exhaust part of it on its own, i dont really want to mess with having bits cut and customised so looks like i will get the cobra downpipe at least its all the same and a definate fit then lol

Trouble is I don't want to run the risk of the cobra back box not fitting the rcm mid pipe whilst its in the air being worked on.
does anyone know why the cobra mid pipe has the moveable flange compared to the fixed rcm one as in the picture ?
