Default What turbo sould i get?

Hi guys, im looking to upgrade my turbo but don't really know where to start! I bought the car not really knowing much about it ie mods and stuff, thought it was just standard but after looking on ebay for some uprated parts then looking at the car I seem to already have a few good bits and bobs on it,! parts I know it has are as follows: 440 yellow injectors (think these are standard), Sti intercooler, 3" decat bellmouth and 3" straight through exhaust with rs*r backbox, forge dv and a pipercross induction kit!

it currently has a TD04L turbo! so what I want to know is what is a direct fit, reasonably priced turbo for my car? and do I need anything else! also from what parts I have, what bhp will it be at present? roughly? cheers

td05 is a straight swap, but maybe for mad power you should be looking at the VF range .

i take it the car is mapped to get the most out of your mods?

No the mr2 one wont fit, i believe it will need a different exhaust housing to suit.,

Standard positon turbos would be from - blouch, scooby clinic, turbo technics, andy forrest, and more

depends on the power you want, i run a standard position turbo technics s206 at 532hp.

but that is with a proper engine build etc. decide what power you want and build to that

Vf35 is a good bet. Slightly quicker spooling than the 34 and good pull once it gets going. £250 will get you a good one
