Default Help needed Viscous coupler/central diff problems

Hi all,

My car is a 99T turbo 2000 and I fear my central diff is going I've research my symptoms which are when warm turning in slow bends it Judders Knocks and bangs and as if breaks sticking on and off. I have read this write up about fixing http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulle...ce-them-46979/.

My question is it mentions about phase 1 and phase 2 gearbox as mine is a 99 it says I should have a phase 2. But mentions you cannot replace the central diff In the phase 2 I have read in other places that you can so need to know can it be repaired or do I need new gearbox, also if I can replace the central diff anyone no best place to look to get one ?
