Default Sti rays te-37 and Ap 6pots

Hi guys I've got a nice set of 16" Rays Te-37 lined up for my classic Ra. Up front I have a set of 330mm Ap 6 pots do you think the wheels will clear them? Alternatively what could I do to aid them fitting?

If anyone has any experience with these wheels and big brakes please could you advise?

Any help or advice Is greatly appreciated.

Cheers joe

Id say its gonna be close if not impossible to fit 16s on those!

the discs are 330mm, the wheels are 400mm, so that means the calipers need to be less than 70mm outside of the disc (i hope this is just basic maths lol!)

Im sure someone will be along to say for definite but by my maths unless they are some seriously slim calipers i dont see it fitting!

Right guys cheers for all the feedback,
Jglanza are yours 6 or 8 piston ksports?
Looking at my APs now there is around 12mm clearance between them and my revolutions.

Really I could do with knowing the overall inside diameter of a 16" rays te37 if anyone knows???

Tony ill drop round this weekend mate and have a butchers at yours, thanks matey

Hi there

I would say depends on the offset(ET) of the wheels they should/can fit, with lower offset(ET) wheels they should fit, like we run low offset 17" with 356mm K-Sport

Right thanks to "Scooby Kid" we've got some measurements for the te37's

Inside diameter 395mm
Offset Et53

So I now need to measure the brakes.

I found these pics from a guy on here, I'm just debating as to weather or not these are 16" because all he used was a 3mm spacer, either way it look close to the inside of that rim

Any thoughts on this?

Looks about the same clearance as on mine which has ap 6pots 330mm disc and speedline st2 17" alloys. There's only a couple mm, not enough to fit balance weights between, which is what it looks like in the pic

I know the wheels are different but here's a set inside 17" ce28's. Max I'd say 5mm clearance

I've had a set of 17" TE37s over AP4-pots and needed a 5mm spacer to clear the caliper. As stated earlier it's the offset (and depth of the spokes) that you need to watch out for.

Am selling the bronze TE37s now, as I've just sold the car.

So a 13" wheel with the right offset will go over them?! Lol

Any photos of the wheels Andy? I'm after a set of bronze wheels to replace my white rota torques.
