Hi all,i am fitting a bugeye WRX intercooler to my facelift classic and was wondering witch silicone Y pipe do I need a facelift one or a bugeye one or are they both the same ,cheers.

 

Use the classic Y pipe

well im telling you from my experience. Newage WRX intercooler on MY99 classic using a prodrive classic Y-pipe

and ideally you need the newage wrx undertray to make full use of the new intercooler size also

Hi guys I was thinking of fitting a wrx or sti inter cooler to my classic 2000 turbo. Do the new age wrx/sti inter coolers have a larger capacity than the classic versions and do they fit on classic inter cooler mounts? Secondly, gambit what under tray are you talking about?

the undertray attaches to the underside of the bonnet and directs the air coming through the scoop onto the intercooler - the skirt on the undertray seals against the intercooler
