Default HELP PLEASE

Hi all in need of some help I got a my99 classic it came out of the garage yesterday after having a service and cam belt done drive fine yesterday and this morning but once stopped outside a shop on trying to start it again it won't start at first tried and ticked over lumpy for few seconds then died this happened about 4 times
Now it won't even start or tick over at all just turns fires then stops instant

Now my thinking and am probably wrong is that the fuel pump has gone only reason I'm thinking that is it was ticking lumpy using fuel in the lines and now it's done that its dead

I have checked leads
Vacuum pipes ect

Also if it is fuel pump where is it located and is there a way of testing it
Any help would be great as paid out £700 quid to the garage yesterday oh and I have tried to call garage but they are shut today lol

Many thanks in advance

Fuel pump is in the tank. Accessed from a panel in the boot floor behind the rear seat. Offside

try the black connector block for fuel pump wiring, under the rear seat drivers side. turn the ignition on and give it a wiggle and listen to hear the fuel pump wiring sound. failing that it could be the fuel pump relay, found above the fuse box right up under the dash on drivers side

Both brilliant bits of advice least I have somewhere to start now just waiting for my friend to come and tow it back then gonna investigate will keep all updated I'm hoping its something simple
Also of it is fuel pump would a walbro be ok to put on there without mods ect
I have some of the bits to do the modding soon and a walbro was one on the list so instead of getting a normal pump save money and get the walbro now then got it ready for all the modding
But don't wanna put it on yet if its not gonna run right before mods and map

Connector under the rear seat is a known possible issue on the classic.

Went out and tried again still nothing so I lifted the rear seat and gave all wires a wiggle then took off cover to fuel pump unplugged it then plugged it back in
Tried to start it and she fired so guessing there defo is a prob with the wires somewhere.
Now to find which one
Nice one all for advice.

You really need to probe the wires to make sure you're getting power to the pump. Either that or find out which one is the live feed and bypass it and see if that helps.

Just an update I have checked over all wires disconnected them gave a spray of wd and plugged them back in so far 2 days no problems so fingers crossed all sorted just a loose connector I guess
Again thanks all I would have just gone out and brought a fuel pump if it was not for the advice on here
