Default Hawk Sti decat question

Just a quick question

I'm currently on the std down pipe and cats with a 2.5" deres centre into a 3" afterburner raptor

With mapping of course what should I expect from a 3" down pipe

Will I lose low down torque? Will I get better spool

I don't want it un drivable as its my daily so needs to be responsive.

Cheers jake

I run a 2.5" bore system from the bottom of the decat downpipe back. that combined with ported headers on a garrett md321t is giving me 500 ft/lbs. it spools up very quick and is very drivable.

I asked andy when he mapped it about the 2.5" system and he commented it was good for 500bhp as its a true size system right through and not shrinking at the bends like some of the 3" systems do.

I'm very happy with my setup

Done a decat with a Hayward & Scott 3" down pipe with 2 1/2" center going to a vortex back box and also done a tgv delete and its around 380bhp /400ft-lbs the rest of the car is standard and it still drives great
