Is that what's wrong......so one of these times I'll press and it'll be buggered and that'll be that.....don't tell me it's inside the box, if it is I'm aswell with a new clutch as it'll need to taken out to get to it (if it's the same as the Saab I had years ago)

No the cylinder is outside the box. Check the return spring is on correctly

Ok, I guess it's at the top of the pedal but it's it easyish to see and get to.....will it be obvious if it's off or broke

The slave cylinder is located underneath the intercooler. It should be obvious if the spring has come off.
Hopefully it'll be an easy fix!

Thanks, I found it, it felt a wee bit slack to me, as if it's lost some strength or tension, maybe not though and that's the way it's meant to be, I'll put another one on though, I'm not going to a dealer for one though, I'll try the local ironmongers or b & q

Think you'll find it's a worn pedal pivot. Adjusting the pedal will help but ultimately you'll need a new pedal. Think there may be a bush too & a new bolt may be a good idea too.
