My 1993 wrx has paint code 952 black pearl, but it only comes up for a 1999 wrx why would this be, or info on this would be much appreciated.

Which paint scheme are you looking to use? Have you checked it against the colour chips (shade chips)? . I have found in the past that some years aren't right on certain systems. I find the standox or lechler can be off on dates but I can't fault the paints,

Booked in for a full respray, but its got a red metallic in the paint, matched to a 99> won't to keep it 100% original hence wanting to check.

http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.p...baruPaintCodes comes up with 952 from 1989- present. I know shades varried but best to check against the paint chips from the paint brand you are going to use.

Had a few cars in the past that was confusing had the codes checked at main dealer but these was newer fords sold by Johngrose so not sure if Hammonds subaru can give you any light. I guess you couldn't get the colour for a uk2000 till then but the wrx and sti could be ordered in Japan
