Default Classic Injectors

Hi guys, i have a 97 UK Turbo and im currently getting together the parts i need to get it ready for a remap. My goal is ~320bhp and having read around a bit im going to need the following:

  • New Turbo (going for a SC32)
  • K&N Panel Filter (fitted)
  • Walbro 255 (ordering soon)
  • 440cc+ Injectors
  • remappable ECU (Got a Power FC + Commander)
  • Decat Exhaust (just ordered a 3" Japseed Decat DP + Cat-back)
So, the only thing im realy stuck on is the Injectors.. i have no idea whats best to go for or where to buy them from? I have read that 2nd hand Injectors can be a bit of a minefield.. so i need some help!

Also could do with the cheapest place to get a Walbro 255, heard there are quite a few fakes about?

a td05 would get you 320 bhp no problem and a lot cheaper than the sc32. 440,s will be fine for that target as well. i bought mine second hand and they have been spot on. if you see a set for sale with a flow chart or evidence they have been cleaned and flowed then all the better. im running 315 on very similar spec on a td05.

I bought mine from Scoobyworld, but Scoobyparts do them as well - circa 70 quid if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the reply yabbadoo, i was going with an SC32 becaust i didnt fancy risking a second hand unit. £500 for a new turbo with a warranty seems like a bargain to me? Admiteddly it would probably be less than half that for a second hand td05 but if i just didnt want to risk buying a dud.

If i can get away with second hand injectors i will though. Anyone know how much it cost to get them cleaned? or if its even worth doing?

Thanks ace, i checked out scoobyworld and they are 79.99 which is reasonable. Whilst looking around though i found a ScoobyWorx pump at 49.99 http://www.scoobyworx.com/swrd-255lp...-pump-26-p.asp
anyone got any experience with these? Seem a bargain at that price, so long as they perform.

I'd never even heard of Scoobyworx, but I'll be adding their site to my favourites.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly with a verdict on their fuel pump.
