Quick question, Will these fit my 99type r? and has anyone had any problems with these nuts?

Had some on mine, lasted a week before i took them off and binned them. Were supposed to be genuine, but several threads chewed and i didnt have any confidence in them, so swapped for a set of steel blue nuts in stead which have been spot on

I got some form hong kong a month ago £18 and came within a week done 1200 miles with no problems

My opinion for what it's worth... alloy nuts on a road car = increased risk of failure.
Had them on for about 50 miles. Checked them for tightness and found 2 or 3 loose and binned the lot.
Never had a problem with steel nuts.
If you stop and think what you gain by changing to pretty alloy nuts, is it really worth the money, effort, and risk?

I think its a cosmetic rather than weight issue.
i checked mine after a few hundred miles and they were fine but not recommended for people who are slack on car maintenance

yeah its only for cosmetic reasons, will be having white wheels and currently has gold blox nuts... wanted some blue replacements.... ive not has an issue with the alloy ones, would happily go to steel ones if anyone knows if i can buy some blue ones or get some anodised somewhere locally?
