Unhappy

My Air Conditioning doesnt work. Car is a 98 Type-R. The green light comes on when i click the ac button and turn the temp dial down, but the air from the vents is not as cold as youd expect from ac - its only as cold as youd expect from a car without ac (if that makes sense).

Any ideas as to the cause...?

Thanks.

Had this done last week cost me £75ish at local garage.halfords do it for the same price, mine was empty, they did a vacumn test to check for leaks as this is more accurate than a pressure test and regassed back up to full efficency.Hope this helps m8 .Bob mac.

yup get it regassed ask that they add the dye that shows up under UV light. then they can see if theres a leak. My compressor went on my WRX it was about a £600 bill from Subaru (yes they do help with IMPORTS) fortunately under warranty.
