help with suspension
Hi all recently bought a subaru impreza classic turbo wagon 2000 awd im looking to setup the handling a little better but im unsure what the code is I need eg gbd? gc8? And I believe others im looking at a set of coilovers but I also use this car to tow my trailer with other car for track days so any help would be appreciated cheers

1. Leave the ride height alone.
2. Don't go over 17's, preferably with 215/4 tyres.
3. New shockers, maybe.
4. Stiffer REAR arb, leave the front alone.
5. Solid droplinks all round.
Once that's all done, have someone who KNOWS WHAT HE OR SHE IS DOING set up the geometry...so NOT your local tyre place.
Try Powerstation or Carnetix.

Cheers for reply ive already got 215 40 18s on the rear shocks have gone and cost to replace standard is same as fitting coilovers was also changing all bushes and cheers will look them places up

Code for a wagon is GF8, I'm sure I read somewhere that rear damper and/or spring rates are slightly different between wagon and saloon...don't quote me on that though!...Camskill do replacement KYB shocks for not huge money...http://www.camskill.co.uk/m10b0s2611...TO_2000_Import
