Default New age decats

I already have a decat downpipe, but due to a turbo swap / another remap I want to remove the 2nd cat. Where is the 2nd cat, can someone clarify which section I need to buy.

I thought it was in the centre section of pipe, but have been been told its in the 's' shaped section leading to the downpipe , and on eBay / other sites its showing a up pipe for the newage ...?

Thanks again

Yes that correct. Although some aftermarket pipes are made so that the first and second section are one part. Turning the system into a 3 rather than 4 peice system. Have a good look at what you have fitted.

I have a decat downpipe fitted at the moment , fitted to the standard 2nd 's' pipe, then centre pipe to back box. So mine will be in 4 pieces.

I am thinking this will be better come not time , just throw the 2nd cat back on ...

2nd cat won't really do alot IMHO, its the cat in the downpipe on an Sti that does the majority of emissions, the second one just helps clean up whatever gets through the first one so to speak, just the second cat alone will not get it through mot or I would be very very surprised if it did.
