Recently I have noticed when I release the clutch I hear this clicking noise getting on my nerves to be honest, at the same time I'm getting a gear crunch when going in to 1st? Advice would be greatful new clutch?

 

Does it go away if you lightly touch the pedal? If so I had this and was told it was the thrust bearing, had a mate fit it and he cocked it up basically. Won't make the same mistake again!!!
