Default Sooner spooling on my vf turbo?

Alright guys ive got a bug jdm, as above i am guessing another remap would help?, but is there any engine/exhaust parts ie up pipe, that i could buy that would help the turbo spool up earlier

Cheers Rob

methanol would help although it would require a remap, its also half the price of v-power

Hi Rob

What turbo you are running and what exhaust you are running?

Hi there

If yours turbo is still standard, the you have VF30(VF30 is standard on bugeye JDM STI),I would try find ported headers with Harvey Up pipe(this Up pipe/headers combo selling Alyn@AS Performance)

VF30 is slow spooling turbo, not sure why,but assume this can be bigger exhaust housing which have VF30

VF34 will be my choice, simply awesome turbo on WRX or STi and really worth to upgrade if you not looking for high bhp,but you are looking for spool more

Port the standard headers they will be fine as long as your not going to silly power, get a harvey smith ported/tapered uppipe as these work great,if not just port the standard uppipe and use that, you will notice a big difference.
