Default De-cat up pipe question

Hi all !

Am about to have a de-cat up pipe fitted and have a question???

Once installed, does to O2 sensor go back onto the pipe as there is a hole for it go into ? If not, where does it go/ what do I do with it ?

Forgive my ignorance, but just want to be sure of the right process !

Many thanks in advance

Greg
