When you bleed it, did you take the slave cylinder off so nipple is to top (Air will rise)?
Mine was kinda the same, started to slip ect, then there was only around 3inch press on pedal to engage. Done that with the clutch this morning also make sure return spring is present and all working good now.

no i left the slave cylinder on the gearbox so that when i was bleeeding it the push rod was pushing against the clutch are, is it best to actually remove the slave and bleed it that way ??

I had a similar issue with a paddle clutch. All air was bleed out but the peddle wouldn't quite fully return, but I didn't have any crunching issues - ie the clutch was disengaging properly still. I ended up making a longer operating rod for the slave cylinder which sorted it. But do this after you are sure all air is bleed from the system.

Also I found bleeding impossible initiallly because the clutch pedal wasn't adjusted properly. Theres a pedal height adjustment nut, so I had to adjust this so the pedal went higher or the fluid wouldn't enter the clutch master cylinder. What happens is if the pedal is too low , the piston in the cylinder doesn't go high enough to open up the hole leading to the fluid reservoir.
