fitting problems inlet hose

Default fitting problems inlet hose

hi all trying to put my 2001 bugeye wrx back together
the inlet hose that goes to the turbo wont go on the turbo inlet is way to close to the tgv inlet like only 2-3mm.
my turbo carnt move across anymore as is touching engine/gearbox,
im totally stumped
its a td05 turbo and eclipse inlet,
will try and upload pics ive took.

Die grinder on the gearbox/bell-housing bolt casting - will give you enough clearance then.

Yeah common snag when fitting a TD05 or similar.
Just make sure you dont get any swarf inside the engine while you are cutting the lug away.

Taking it back to the edge of the bolt hole should do it or you can take the bolt hole right out and not fit the bell housing bolt,all depends on how much 'wriggling' room you need.
