Default V4 sti engine info

Still in search of v4 sti engine,, but with no luck

Do I have to use the sti bare engine itself? Or can I use 98 uk or wrx engine with all my turbo injectors on it?

Any bottom end from any version with your heads and inlet/ancils, Any V4 will drop in and all you need to do is connect everything to it, ie the loom/pipes.

yes you can but it wont be a sti engine then ie non forged with the higher rev range then a wrx i dont know how it effects it either. if your going to the hassle of an engine swap or build why not go for aftermarket rods and pistons? or CDB overbore etc.

use the v3 sti heads over v4 sti if building a wrx bottom end with bits you all ready have. pointless swapping for a old engine if not planning on opening it up.
