my blobeye wrx has started to smell of burning oil from the exhaust but there is no smoke at all,i had a second hand td04 put on at xmas as the seal went in my old one causing burning oil smell/smoke

could this turbo be on the way out?

my car has (in the past month or so) been treated to a new raptor backbox and afterburner center section along with a new de-cat downpipe

turbo oil seals possibly.
it wont smoke until its on boost most likely.
check the oil level in the car and see if it has dropped

this is what i thought but when my old turbo was on its way out it only smoked on idle after driving, never once (that i seen) smoked on boost

i doubt its anything in the engine causing this (well i fooking hope not)

an oil smell could be anything but as you say its from the exhaust and the first mechanical component back is the turbo so id start there.

my guess too. You don't start to SEE it until it gets quite bad, then just a faint haze of smoke from the scoop, vents etc at standstill.
