Hi I took my 1994 import Subaru impreza wrx to see if I could get it mapped but the mapper said he knows the car and it has had the engine changed and the wiring cut about it also has the wrong inlet manifold on it and has no icv. The has a apexi fc commander in it but its showing high knock levels could this be because of the map and the wrong inlet manifold? I have bought the correct inlet and a icv for it? Should this lower the knocking level? Cheers

What fuel are you using? Either use 99ron if you are not already, or get some octane booster in there aswell

 

Ok cheers I'm using bp ultimate so should I use tesco or shell petrol and il get some octane booster aswell thanks mate

 

Try it with 99 see is it detting, then if still try some octane booster. Could your mapper not adjust the apexi
