Question Cooling down

New to imprezas, what's the best cooling down times to follow? Do I need to do it after a 3 minute drive up the shop or gym? Or only when when I've been driving for a while, any advice would be great

In general, day to day driving - no need to do it. Its something recommended if you've been driving the car hard for a while and not had the opportunity to slow down to a normal road speed before stopping.

I always drive about 5 miles minimum off boost to get air flow over the engine and watch it cool down. I make sure my oil temperature is about 85 - 90 degrees before I switch off. If I do a short run to the shops then I won't have to cool it down because I won't have had it on boost at all and the temperature stays around 85 degrees.
