today i have started to put all my performance parts on and what a nightmare its been. need some help do i need to put both sensors back in to the uppie as now i have replace the stock 1 to a decat uppie. my reason is that i cant get 1 of the sensors out.

 

i think the sensor i cant get out is called EGT probe. do i need this or can i just blank it off.

 

The EGT probe can be removed, you will need a resistor to put into the plug to keep the ecu happy, should be able to find which one you need in the search they only cost pence to buy from maplins.

 

having the car mapped next week so do i still need to put a resister in or will the mapper just cancel the egt probe
