delimiting question

Default delimiting question

I was on the understanding that a mechanical speedo converter that goes on the back of a dash is also a delimiter. Is this correct or is something else needed to delimit a 95wrx import? Just that i read a post n it talks about a chip is needed aswell as the mechanical converter

For the 95 you can use the mechanical one that fits on the gearbox end of the cable.

Yh ive seen one of those. Do they convert the speedo though? I can find both of them to buy. I would prefer to delimit and convert

Yes they do. They come with an mph sticker to cover the kmh sticker on the speedo. Speedo reads in mph not kmh once fitted.

my v5 reads mph but is limited why is this and how can i change that

The newer versions need a chip. Im not sure what year they changed but yours will be electronic n the older ones like mine are done through a mechanical converter. There are chips on ebay for £30 ish. Not sure how good they are maybe someone on here knows. I think the chip goes on the back of the dash but again im not sure. On ebay look for subaru delimiter.
