Question "dump valve"

anybody have any ideas how to get the vacuum hose off a blob eye wrx? mine seems like its welded on, I couldn't budge it with pliers

Cut the hose where it pushes on. Then trim that part of the hose off after. There's normally enough length to still use the hose, if not replace it.

hot water on the hose will make it come off easier

I thought of the hot water, but I was pi**ed off and my hands had gone numb, will try this again tomorrow I think
