Default HG replacement help (guide) please

1995 STI 555. In the middle of changing my head gaskets and need some help/advice/guide please. I've managed to pull engine and it's now sat on engine stand in my garage. I've also removed Inlet manifold. Anyone know of a good guide how to remove timing belt and heads so I can get them sent off for pressure testing and "flatness".

Thanks, these will come in useful for bolt torque figures etc. I was looking for bit more of a what to do stage guide. All the 1's I can find on the net are American and are for SOHC's (which are quite different because you don't have to remove the cam shafts to get at the head bolts).

As tidy said while engine out for the sake of but more work and extra £150 it's worth giving the bottom end a bit of a refresh. It's cheaper now than if they go later and damage crank.

Thanks for the advice guys, i've given this quite a bit of thought and think I'm just going to change the head gaskets (and timing belt). Car's only got 52,000 on it and not running anything other than standard BHP on it so hoping the engine will last a couple of years while I get round to having another engine (i've got in a SORN car) professionally rebuilt. I know the risks and if the bottom end does go straight after I'll just have pay (well credit card company) for the rebuild earlier than anticipated.

Managed to get the Crank pulley off this evening so really just need advice on removing the cam shafts correctly so I can get at the Head bolts!!!
