Honest answer is not a lot tbh and as to cost vs gain then your fighting a loosing battle I'm afraid

As has been said above really mate, the truth is if you want more power then get another car I'm afraid. The ratio of power to cost isn't worth it sadly.

Hmmm :| only just bought it so I'm not getting rid. And I'm only 22 so no chance of WRX for a few years. But i might try cams. What kind of gain does chipping it give. I'm sure there probably a fortune though.

Just drive it as it stands and save your cash for when your a few years older and buy a STI would be my advice.

Best bang for buck. Plus you can take it off if you sell the car on later.

I had a sport for a year before I bought my WRX. And everyone is right. You just can't squeeze much more out of the regular impreza. Induction kit, exhaust, and that's it. And they're not really going to give you many noticeable gains...

Spend some money on the brakes and suspension. A better handling car with good brakes will beat a high powered car with worn suspension and poor brakes on a B road blast.

cheers guys! dont think i'm going to throw big money at it, maybe induction kit, STI wheels, get some decent brakes and suspension. .That will do for me

anyone recommend a good induction kit new to subarus so dont have a clue which one to get or which will fit mine the RX seems pretty rare for performance parts

just be carefull what wheels you get, sti ones wont fit, different pcd assuming its the same as the wrx then can fit classic wheels or wrx fitment wheels
