Default Induction Kit

Hi Fellow scoob's

I hope everyone is well and enjoying their Sunday . I would like to get more of an induction sound, is an induction kit the best way of getting it?

thanks,

I like the icon...I take it this IS a p*ss take?

If not, and you genuinely don't know, we''ll need to know what model and what year, plus what mods you are running before we say that induction kits aren't good for Scoobs

Ah..Ok, well, as I said, Scoobs don't really like induction kits due to the presence of a MAF (Mass Air Flow) meter in the induction, which can be destroyed by any oil on the induction filter, vibration from the new kit etc.
Plus you MAY actually find you gain noise and lose power.
Better to stick with a decent panel filter, STi, Cosworth, Green Cotton etc.

No probs, it was the icon that made me think you were just having a laugh.

Seriously, if you want induction noise, get a remap and run MAF-less, then you can have a huge induction kit and all the noise you want

You can remove it, yes, but you need a remap that doesn't use it any more.

Your mapper will tell you if it's possible with your ecu.
