Help with exhaust down pipe
Hi to all im now the proud owner of a wrx but my mot has failed on emmissions as it has a decat pipe, it is currently still at a car garage in portsmouth i am getting a full service including cam belt plugs etc but i need to borrow or buy an origional down pipe with both cats just to get it through. If anyone can help i would be very grateful. If someone wanted to bring the part just for mot then remove and take straight after i have no probs with that. I have tried lots of breakers and scooby parts places, gumtree, preloved and piston heads no luck ive tried ebay but i need it asap one person cant get one on there but cant get to me until the end of next week or later :-( and need cheap as poss

What size bore and what exhaust you running?
There are plenty of the prodrive sports cats for sale in the car breaking section, it should pass mot with just the 1 in place if its in good working order

Yes cars breaking on here, if you have a 3" downpipe and centre then your either gonna have to source a 3" sports cat downpipe which can be costly or you can buy a 3" sports cat that will fit mid system just to pass mot, there was one for sale on here a few days back which I believe was 3" bore, maybe that will be your cheapest and easiest option? You could at least make a mix and match exhaust for little money just to get it through and then put your 3" back on as the car will have been mapped for that system ( or at least it should have )
