issue fitting hid kit

Default issue fitting hid kit

fitted a hid kit which was removed from a blob and working,so i fitted to my car and they wouldnt work.so after removing them i thought miby the ballasts need earthed ie bolted to bodywork?????????

No, my kit for my blob had no earths to be fastened down, when you have the kit fitted the plug that goes in to the ballast with the 2 wires, pull it out and turn it around the other way. I know it sounds strange but I had he same problem on mine when I first fitted them, I was baffled yet the normal bulbs worked perfect every time, its the plug that goes in to the ballast, just flip it over and plug It in the opposite way and odds on they work

strange how they were working before as they were removed from a blob,i tryd swappin the plug round a the lights with no luck,ill give that a go anyway.cheers.
