Hi I have a 2003 wrx with prodrive pack fitted by subaru I'm looking to get a louder burble from the car than I have it's quite low at the moment only when I floor the car do you get a nice sound ... I don't want to decat the car could I just change the backbox exhaust with one with less baffles ? Or if any one has any ideas ?

I had the same issue, in my ignorance I just changed the back box to a Ninja one & it hardly made any difference.

I then went for a straight through middle section & back box which gave me a nice rumble that can still turn heads but not one that annoys neighbours.

Depending on volume level of sound will depend very much on the make you purchase.

Thanks for all the tips just looked at scorpian full decat kit removes all cats how hard are these to fit it says straight bolt on replacement but it never runs that smooth is this a mechanics job or a semi competent mechanic ?
