Right I have a knocking sound I first noticed it when pulling away but also does it when I do little blips of the throttle but only with the clutch is depressed!! Nothing at all when in neutral!

Could it be clutch/box related? Thrust bearing maybe? Or a lot worse god I hope not only had it a week!!

could possible be clutch release bearing but would be hard to tell without hearing it

 

check top engine mount under intercooler. could be excessive play causing intercooler to knock against bulkhead. a problem i have just remedied. I do however have an oversized sti intercooler which sits quite tight. The mount brace was perished and after replacing has remedied the knocking.
