Default Radiator help

Had an issue with coolant leaking from my 99 type r (was a cold day and I just warmed it up, took it around the block and when parking up it was dripping out). The rad is a standard item and looks good condition, the rad hoses are aftermarket silicon item and again these look ok. Bit bemused as to what has failed as the rad doesn't look patchy on the fins, just signs of drippage near the bottom rad hose (passenger side). Any ideas??

Anyways, seems a good excuse to upgrade to a better rad, what I'd the best out there within my £150 budget? The japspeed ones look good, any others as good?

Cheers in advance, Paul

Stock rad is great, cheaper alloy ones tend not to last very long.

As above, replaced my 11 year old standard rad with another the same.

The plastic may have split, one of the hoses may have a pinhole, the spigot the hose attaches to may have split.
