Lightbulb Whine for rear on wrx

Hi all we have got a whine on our wrx hawkeye 2006 from the rear when slowing down to a junction or pulling away any ideas maybe a diff problem?

Diff bearings or wheel bearing

Doesnt sound like a wheel bearing m8 but i will have to look into the diff bearings
