Default sports cat

having an issue at the mo with my stock cat on my 01 bug wrx. I already have cat back system so car is loud enough, dont really want to put on a de-cat downpipe as i reckon it would be way too loud. So what do you guys think of a sports hi-flow cat?? are they any good?? car will be getting mapped soon enough so just want to know what would be the best option

Have Ninja downpipe with 100 cell sports cat from Scoobyworld and i made 315bhp on mapping. Was happy with that as sails through MOT no probs.Obviously you will lose a little, but suits me as everyday car for me.

thats big power bud but i suppose you have big spec too. my bug is running standard and when i get it mapped im hoping to get as much as i can out of it. Just wondering would i be loosing much power by fitting sports cat instead of de-cat??

Sorry to butt in, but thought it was a good place to ask. A mate of mine is looking at getting a sports cat for his late classic. What sort of prices do they retail at new?

Thanks
