I did mine about 2 months ago and did it like this:

Remove everything from both sides of the engine (air-box, secondary air pump, battery etc).
Remove the intercooler and pipework.
Unbolt the air-con pump and place where the battery was.
Unbolt the power steering pump and place behind the right hand headlight.
Remove the rad and hoses.
Remove fuel lines and other small lines.

That's about it and everything should be disconnected.

Remove the clutch fork arm.
Support the engine (usually with a crane around the inlet manifold) and remove all the bolts from the engine to gearbox.

Remove the engine mount bolts and the engine should come away from the gearbox.

There should be enough remove to get it out without having to remove the air-con rad.

There's probably other things but can't remember off the top of my head!
