intercooler bar/plate or tube/fin

ive been told that tube and fin is better than bar and plate .been looking at garratt bar and plate cooler which are rated to 1000bhp .anyone used one.

roof is off nice carbon one waiting to go on . rollcage out.as soon its back should be going for new cage
